According to Aroosh, the panchayat had 18 wards and a population of about 36,000. He said that every effort was being made to get the vegetable gardens put up as soon as possible.

The State's local authorities are the primary audience for the Agri Nutri Garden initiative. According to a message from the Public Relations Department, the Chittattukara Project was introduced by Fort Kochi Sub Collector Vishnu Raj, who said that the gardens were necessary for the time and would aid in reviving the tradition of vegetable gardening in homes.

The Kudumbashree Mission is assisting with the program's implementation. The Kudumbashree network will assist with vegetable production and marketing.
