Agrovon 2K21 Begins With a Hope of Miracle from Ideas

Agrovon 2K21 has a special message to the present generation

CCS NIAM, the premier institute of agricultural marketing, began its national level B-Fest on September 7, 2021.

“Sow ideas, water hopes, reap miracles”.

The theme of the virtual fest is “Sow ideas, water hopes, reap miracles”. The vision behind it is to increase confidence and give a platform to budding managers where they can get an insight into the corporate world and know the competitors in the field.

The Inauguration Event

The one-hour inauguration event began with the introduction of Agrovon and the lamp lighting ceremony. The welcome speech was given by P.K. Swain, who is the Additional Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, GOI. He is also the Director-General of CCS NIAM. This was followed by a series of speeches by the guests present.

The speakers included eminent personalities like Kamal Kumar, Advisor, Dhanuka Agritech Limited, Kiran Naik, Co-Founder and HR, Vegrow, Prof. Sudhirkumar Barai, Director BITSPILANI, Sanjeev Chadha, MD NAFED, Vinod Yadav, Ex-Chairman and CEO of Indian Railway Board, and Dr. Ramesh Mittal, Director, NIAM. Barai and Chadha were the Guests of Honour of the event. The Chief Guest of the event was Vinod Yadav. The event ended with a vote of thanks by Ramesh Mittal.

The event was also addressed by the Founder & Editor in Chief of Krishi Jagran & Agriculture World, MC Dominic.

Address by M.C. Dominic, Editor-in-Chief of Krishi Jagran

M.C. Dominic, founder, and Editor-in-Chief of Krishi Jagran, who is also the eminent media partner for Agrovon 2K21, also addressed the event on its first day. Dominic drew participant’s attention to the fact that agriculture lacks representation in the media. Even entertainment and sports have media dedicated to them, he said, but agriculture, which is the major occupation of the country, does not.

Concluding his address, he urged students to join agri-media because if solely Krishi Jagran can have lakhs of readers by dedicating itself to farmers, the power agri-media can bring about, is beyond imagination.
