On 9th September, 2020 West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee wrote to the Union Health and Agriculture Minister proposing to sign up for the increased assets given by the NDA government.  The letter also marks her agreement on the 2 years before released scheme by the centre called Ayushman Bharat Scheme.

These sudden decisions have made the public a bit confused as the whole nation has been a proper witness to the differences between the Centre and the state government. CM Mamata Banerjee have always been protesting against all the Centre released schemes and initiatives. Therefore, the agreement to the above mentioned scheme created a huge commotion in all of our minds.

Even the BJP party has been accusing TMC leader and the CM of West Bengal for not being able to provide the state farmers with exclusive benefits and also for not helping the state farmers for availing the benefits from all of the schemes released by the central government.

Mamata Banerjee in a way gave her reply to the accusations made by BJP in her letter to Dr. Harshvardan stating that even before the Ayushman Bharat Yojana had been released; West Bengal had already agreed and implemented 100% free medicines, treatment and checkups for all the citizens residing in the state in all of its government hospitals. Therefore, declining all the accusations and also claiming them to be false.

The CM of West Bengal has always been praising her own govt. schemes for getting recognised and awarded in international platforms. Most of her rallies have a history of accusing the central govt. for always taking full credits about the schemes as almost 40% of the expenditure is from the states.

Coming back to the PM Kisan Nidhi scheme, Banerjee has requested the Union Minister to extend the initiatives with the terms and condition that the state government must be trusted with all the funds and the entire disbursement of the scheme. There has been no response from the Center yet.
