Big Relief amid Lockdown! Govt Announces Financial Assistance of Rs. 10,000 to Farmers

About 35 lakh farmers of the state will get the benefit, says a report. As per reports, the state government has sought a special package of Rs 3900 crore from the centre.

Recently, the Government of Jharkhand announced big relief news to the farmers where it has decided to give financial support to the farmers. About 35 lakh farmers of the state will get the benefit, says a report.  As per reports, the state government has sought a special package of Rs 3900 crore from the centre.

Govt Announces relief measures of Rs. 10,000 to Jharkhand Farmers

Jharkhand government has decided to give ten thousand rupees to the farmers as compensation money amid the crisis. Moreover, the government will buy milk from all the milk producers left out. For this cooperation, the state government has sought a special package of Rs 3900 crore from the centre. The government has also sent a proposal to the centre in this regard. Agriculture Minister Badal says that the farmers have suffered the most in this lockdown.

Only plans to overcome this loss will not work. First of all, such farmers will have to give financial support under a special package. The Center has already been made aware of the situation in this regard, which has also been taken seriously by the Center. He said that the state government is providing all possible help to the farmers, but they are also hopeful to get help from the central government.

Special Package is needed for post Kovid-19

The department is preparing to make a list of all the affected farmers so that the farmers can get more benefits during the Corona epidemic. The minister said that Jharkhand is a backward state and a special package is needed hereafter Kovid-19 disease. In the period of lockdown, hailstorm has broken the back of farmers. Rotten vegetables of farmers can still be seen in the fields. Meanwhile, the government is also giving them compensation from the disaster.


Farmers' Vegetables will directly go to Didi Kitchen for Next Six Months:

To help farmers, vegetables will be sent from their fields to Didi kitchen for the next six months. Vegetable consumption of Rs.13.50 crore will be consumed for 4500 Didi kitchens running in the state. A vegetable worth thirty thousand rupees will be purchased every day for each kitchen. Minister Badal informed that in this way the Center has also been made aware of this scheme. These kitchens will cost Rs 81 crore for six months.

35 thousand litres of milk is being sold in the state

In view of the loss in lockdown, Jharkhand Milk Federation will make a full purchase of milk from milk producers. In return, the government will pay 12 crores per month to the federation, which farmers will get in return for milk. It is also planned to run for six months, for which a package of Rs 72 crore is required.
