EIMA exposes the most innovative agri machinery in Italy

EIMA International 2018 was held from 7th to 11th November 2018 in Bologna, Italy. The event showcased various products from the Agriculture and Forestry industry, which included Agriculture Processing Machinery, Crop Cleaning, Grading, Chemical Fertilizing and Spraying Equipment, Weighing & Harvesting Machinery, Industrial Feed Stuff Production, Grain Processing Machinery, Irrigation Systems and Equipment etc.

EIMA International 2018 was held from 7th to 11th November 2018 in Bologna, Italy. The event showcased various products from the Agriculture and Forestry industry, which included Agriculture Processing Machinery, Crop Cleaning, Grading, Chemical Fertilizing and Spraying Equipment, Weighing & Harvesting Machinery, Industrial Feed Stuff Production, Grain Processing Machinery, Irrigation Systems and Equipment etc.

The five-day event witnessed a huge crowd from all over the world, which included farmers, business people, contractors and mechanization technicians plus representatives of the political sphere and academics. Moreover many leading companies like Farmtrac, Kohler, Repossi, Parrot and New Holland participated and displayed their latest products in the exhibition.  Indian combine harvester maker Kartar Agro Industries also exhibited its first tractors. Made on a newly-built production line, the range currently lists eight, three or four-pot Deutz Stage II powered Globetrac models from 40 to 100hp.

EIMA International is one of the biggest International Exhibition of Machinery for Agriculture and Gardening - a biennial event introduced in 1969 by FederUnacoma, the Italian Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers Federation and is organized by the federation’s service division, FederUnacoma Surl jointly with BolognaFiere.

The format of the review provides for 14 merchandise sectors joined by specialized salons, EIMA Components, EIMA Energy, EIMA Green and EIMA M.i.A., to involve direct participation of manufacturing industries from around the world presenting advanced technologies in the sector at the global level.

Eima is held in the Bologna Trade Fair quarters on an exhibition area of 375,000 m². Each edition hosts around 1900 companies from 40 countries displaying over 50000 models of machinery and equipment for all sorts of agricultural operations.
