Farmers Protest: Delhi's Major Borders Closed; Traffic Diverted

Farmers have been protesting against three farm laws for over a hundred days at the borders of National Capital. Today farmers had closed some of the city's borders with Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.
The Ghazipur border remains closed to motorists travelling to Delhi from Uttar Pradesh. Commuters are recommended to take routes that pass via Anand Vihar, DND, Loni DND, and Apsara borders, according to traffic police. Commuters can still use the Chilla border, which was cleared of farmers shortly after the Republic Day riots.
On Monday, the entry and exit points between the national capital and Haryana remained blocked, passing through Singhu, Tikri, Auchandi, Piau Manyari, Saboli, and Mangesh.
Motorists travelling between Delhi and Haryana are recommended to take alternate routes that pass through Lampur Safiabad, Palla, and Singhu school toll tax boundaries, or other routes that pass through Gurugram and Faridabad.
Mukarba and Grand Trunk Road have also been closed by the police.
On Sunday evening, the Jharoda border, which had been partly closed all along, reopened to full traffic.
Farmers have been opposing the three farm laws for over 100 days at Delhi's borders with Haryana and Uttar Pradesh in Ghazipur, Tikri, and Singhu.
