Five Thousand Farmers Will be Given Training on Natural Farming

Himachal Pradesh government has taken a unique initiative to provide training and promotion of natural farming, which will include irrigation, planting and sowing. The farmers will be trained with the help of latest technologies. To make farmers aware of the importance and benefits of natural farming, the government has decided to explain the model of the best states to them. In order to make people understand the importance of zero farming, the state government will take five thousand farmers to Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat wherein they will be taught and trained about natural farming. Under the scheme, farmers will be trained on the ways to increase productivity in crops, farming from scientific point of view, testing of land and requirements of essential elements for crops.

The agriculture Department told that in the present time, water and air are changing rapidly, which is affecting farming and making it poisonous. In this type of situation, it is important that we once again go for or practice natural farming. Keeping this in mind, the government has decided to take farmers to different states and give them required training in farming.

According to the information received, more than 170 farmers have already got the benefits of this scheme, and the department has set a target to connect five thousand farmers with natural farming.
