Nepal to Host first ever South Asian Agri Summit 2023 at Soaltee Hotel in Kathmandu from 19th to 20th January 2023.

The purpose of this summit is to develop new growth paradigms for South Asian agribusiness. These two summits will bring together business leaders from the South Asian Agri industry and trade to discuss the changing environment and scenario of pulses, grains, rice, sugar, oils & oilseeds, dry fruits & nuts, and spices & herbs.

The South Asian Agri Summit 2023 is put on by the non-profit Bharat Subcontinent Agri Foundation (BSAF) in association with TEFLAS and is sponsored by the United Arab Emirates, India Middle East Agri Trade Industry & Investment Forum, Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Confederation of Nepalese Industries, Nepal Chamber of Commerce, Nepal Sugar Producers Association, Nepal Food & Spice Wholesale Merchants Association, and Kathmandu Industry & Commerce Association.

“The Agenda for South Asia Agri Summit will be very rich and useful for all the attendees,” said Vivek Agarwal, Director of BSA foundation.

Conversations and discussions regarding production, consumption, and trade for agriculture/ horticulture crops including spices, dry fruits, etc. will be held at the summit.

The aim of this summit is to create a new growth paradigm for South Asian Agri-Business.

“This summit will act as a multilateral regional platform for deliberations on key South Asian Agri and allied sectors such as Grains, Pulses, Sugar, Rice, Oils & Oilseeds, Spices & Herbs, Dried Fruits & Nuts, Agri-Food-Tech start-ups, Intra-regional cooperation, and trade partnership MoUs with countries like UAE, Singapore, Canada, Australia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Australia, CIS, Turkey, Brazil, USA, Canada Western & Eastern Africa,” said BSA Foundation Honorary Chairman Sudhakar Tomar.

“This summit will provide a unique platform for conversation regarding production, consumption, and trade for an entire range of Agri-produce. One must take this opportunity to attend the summit and help contribute to enlarging intra-regional cooperation on Agri trade, production, Technology, and allied sectors,” he added.
