Good News for Farmers: Register for PM Kisan Yojana before 31 March and Get Double Benefit

The government is going to release the 8th installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi yojana very soon. As many of you may already know that under PM Kisan scheme, the Central government gives financial assistance of Rs. 6000 per year to the farmers in three installments. The last or 7th installment was released on 25th December 2020.

Register before 31 March to get two installments

If you have not yet registered yourself under PM Kisan Yojana, then you have a chance to apply before 31 March. If your application is accepted before 31 March, then you will get two installments together i.e. the 7th and 8th installments. You can apply online as well as offline for the scheme.

How to register for PM Kisan online

This is how farmers can easily register for the scheme sitting at home;

• First go to the official website of PM Kisan https://pmkisan.gov.in/

• Then go to Farmers Corner.

• Click on 'New Farmer Registration' and enter required details like Aadhaar number

• Then select your state and enter captcha code.

• Also give bank account details and land information

• Finally submit the form.

Apart from this, you can apply for this scheme by visiting Local Common Service Center or Patwari.

In the past few months many scams were reported under PM Kisan scheme hence now the Government wants everything to happen properly. The government has also taken few steps to bring transparency in the scheme. Now farmers who will register for the scheme will have to mention their plot/land number in the application form. However, the new rules will not affect the old beneficiaries associated with the scheme.
