Good News for Students! Six Months Internship Program by the Agriculture Department

As part of the Subhiksha Kerala - Integrated Food Security Scheme of the State Government, the Department of Agriculture is offering a six-month internship program for educated youth and students.

The government has decided to bring in as many youth and students as possible to know the agricultural culture and the potential of the agro-industrial sector. Agriculture graduates, VHSE certificate holders, Management graduates, Social Work graduates, other graduates, Social Welfare Diploma holders and Diploma holders in Management in Business Administration can all participate in this training program.

During the six-month training period, it will be possible to interact with farmers, collect information on crop information, crop health, harvesting, market resource mobilization, technical assistance, and gain experience in areas such as front office management, data entry and dissemination of knowledge in offices related to agriculture. Their work will also be very helpful to the Agriculture Department officials.

During this training period, there will be an opportunity to understand the activities and services of Krishi Bhavan, Office of the Assistant Director of Agriculture at the block level, District Agriculture Office and Department of Agriculture farms. Those who complete the training will be given a special certificate.
