Under the Manohar Jyoti Yojana of Haryana Government, subsidy is being given to people for installation of solar panels. Under this scheme, 150 watt solar panels are installed in rural areas. It costs about 22,500 rupees to install a 150 watt solar panel at home. The state government gives a subsidy of Rs 15,000. In this way, people get the benefit of this scheme by depositing Rs 7,500.
