Good News! Government to Give Kadaknath Chicken & Feeder to Farmers to Beat Malnutrition

Keeping this point in mind, the BJP government of Gujarat is going to start a unique initiative to reduce malnutrition in children across the state.

As per reports, the state government of Gujarat has decided to give Kadaknath’chicken, a rooster and fodder to the malnutrition affected families which will give them an opportunity to start poultry farms along with properly taking care of children's nutrition.
A special initiative of Gujarat government
As per reports, the Vijay Rupani government has identified many malnourished and extremely malnourished children of 6 months to 3 years in Dahod district. Around 6,014 children are dictating with severely malnourished while 12,512 malnourished children have been exposed. In such a situation, the BJP government of Gujarat has decided to distribute rooster in the first phase to 165 extremely malnourished children of Dahod district.
Scheme to Fight Malnutrition
Under the scheme of the state government, all the identified families will be given 10 Kadaknath hen, 1 Kadaknath cock, cage and feeder to feed them. However, the government has decided to distribute poultry among all the families considering the eggs as a vegetarian diet in this scheme. As per reports, Kadaknath hen lays eggs at an interval of every 2-3 days. In this situation, the government hopes that the family will get eggs throughout the month and their children will get nutrition too.
