Good News! Govt is Offering 40-50% Subsidy on Agricultural Equipment’s for Kharif Sowing; How to Apply

The Central and state government has been implementing various schemes from time to time to promote agricultural production and for doubling farmer’s income. Under these schemes, farmers are provided subsidy according to the category on purchase of agricultural equipment.

The Central and state government has been implementing various schemes from time to time to promote agricultural production and for doubling farmer’s income. Under these schemes, farmers are provided subsidy according to the category on purchase of agricultural equipment. In this series, 40 to 50 per cent subsidy is being given by the state government of Haryana on agricultural equipment for the Kharif season. This scheme is mainly aimed to help the farmers in sowing of Kharif crops.  
Moreover, farmers have to use many types of equipment in different tasks in agriculture which are known as Agricultural Machinery. Farmers can easily use them in the plowing of fields, sowing, spraying of fertilizers and pesticides, irrigation, protection of crops, harvesting, hauling etc. which ultimately make their work easier and double the yield. 

Subsidy on Agricultural Equipment 

As per reports, the Haryana government is giving 40 to 50 per cent subsidy on Kharif season agricultural implements. Moreover, 50 per cent subsidy is being given to scheduled castes, small farmers, and marginal farmers and women farmers. Along with this, the subsidy is being provided to big farmers up to 40 per cent or up to the maximum limit. 

How to Get Subsidy on this Agricultural equipment? 

The Agriculture Department is giving subsidy on agricultural equipment like pneumatic planter, multi-truss table planter, raised bed planter (table), for sowing of kharif crops. Farmers can avail the benefit of this subsidy on a first come, first served basis. 

Eligibility  

Applicant must be a resident of Haryana. The applicant should have agricultural land. 50 per cent subsidy is being given to scheduled castes, small farmers, and marginal farmers and women farmers. 

Along with this, the subsidy is being provided to big farmers up to 40 per cent or up to the maximum limit. 

The subsidy will be given on the basis of first-come, first-served basis. 

The subsidy will be given on agricultural equipment used in sowing of Kharif crops.

Other Important Information 

You can contact the Agriculture Department directly to avail the subsidy on agricultural equipment because its benefits are being given on a first-come, first-served basis. Apart from this, farmers can apply online under the Mera Pani-Meri Virasat Yojana till 30 June 2020.
