The Government of India introduced the PM-KUSUM (Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan Yojana) program to boost farmers' income and give resources for irrigation and de-dieselizing the agricultural sector.

One of them, the Apex Committee will include five more members and be led by the Chief Secretary. According to a government directive, "The Committee shall meet twice annually and examine the implementation of all the scheme's components and coordinate the scheme's efficient implementation."

Another is an 11-member Steering Committee that meets quarterly to monitor the program's implementation and is led by the Administrative Secretary of Science and Technology.

The government order noted that the third and last one is a District level Group. The six-member committee, with the Deputy Commissioner serving as chairman, meets twice a month to examine and address any difficulties and bottlenecks that may arise during the effective implementation of the plan.

PM-KUSUM (Pradhan Mantri-Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan) scheme aims to provide farmers in India with energy security. The program also aims to uphold the nation's commitment to Intended Nationally Determined Contributions (INDCs), which calls for increasing the installed capacity of electric generation from non-fossil fuel sources to 40% by 2030.
