The sowing of Kharif crops has started in many states of the country. In such a situation, apart from irrigation, farmers have to save the crops from stray animals. For this, many farmers are engaged around the fields day and night, so that their hard work and the cost of farming are not wasted.

Now, to get rid of this problem from the farmers, the governments are also giving grants for tampering in the fields.

The subsidy is being given for fencing on farms

Under the Rajasthan Crop Protection Mission, the Gehlot government is giving 40 thousand rupees as a subsidy for the protection of crops from Nilgai and stray animals up to 400 meters in the fields. At the same time, a total grant amount of Rs.48 thousand is given to the small and marginal farmers.

At present, farmers can apply for this scheme by visiting Raj Kisan Saathi Portal. The beneficiary farmers for this scheme will be selected on a first-come and first-serve basis.

After verification, the amount will be sent to the farmers' account

After the application, pre-verification of the work will be done on the spot by the Assistant Agriculture Officer or Agriculture Supervisor related to the scheme. After that, as per the guidelines issued by the Agriculture Department to the farmer, the wiring work will be completed after taking complete information from the concerned Agriculture Supervisor/Assistant Agriculture Officer.

After physical verification and verification, the grant amount is deposited to the farmers in their bank accounts. This amount will be transferred to the bank account through DBT. However, those with pasture land, religious trusts, and government institutions have been kept out of this scheme.
