What are the Benefits of PM Kisan Maandhan Yojana

According to Ministry of Agriculture officials, farmers will have to pay no fees for PM-KMY registration. If a farmer is already taking benefit of PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi yojana then he will not have to deposit any separate documents for this scheme.

Under this yojana, farmers can choose to contribute directly from the benefits received from PM-Kisan scheme. Therefore, they will not have to spend money directly from their pocket.

Farmers have to make a monthly contribution of Rs.55 to Rs.200, which depends on their age of entry.

If a farmer wants to leave the scheme in between, then his money will not be lost. The money that has been deposited till his departure would get interest equal to the savings account of banks. In case the farmer dies, then his wife will continue to get 50% of the amount.
