Rs.2000 will be transferred in the bank account of farmers as the third installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-Kisan scheme) next month. So far, Rs. 4000 have been deposited in the farmers' account as two installments of PM-Kisan yojana. But to get the third installment, farmers are required to link their Aadhaar card with PM Kisan yojana before 30 November. Now, farmers have just two days to link their Aadhaar number with PM-Kisan. Farmers must make sure that their names in the Aadhaar card and bank account is correct or else they won't get the benefit of PM-Kisan.

It has been found that about 1.3 crore farmers of Uttar Pradesh have been removed from the PM Kisan Samman Yojana due to flaws in their data or information. Authorities had found differences in their names in bank accounts and Aadhaar number. However, taking immediate steps on this issue, the UP Government instructed all the district collectors of the state to check and update the data.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary RK Tiwari has asked all the district magistrates to correct the flaws in the data of the beneficiaries of the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi by 30th November 2019 so that they do not have any difficulty in getting the benefit of the minimum support scheme from 1 December 2019. Due to flaws in the farmers' data, there is a problem in implementing the PM-Kisan scheme.

According to the information, data of 1.11 crore farmers of Uttar Pradesh uploaded on the PM-Kisan portal is incorrect. The names of farmers uploaded on the PM-Kisan portal do not match with the name written on the Aadhaar card. And if these names are not corrected then farmers will not be able to get the third installment of Rs 2000.

Not only this, the bank account information of around 20 lakh farmers is also wrong, that was rejected by the Public Financial Management System (PFMC). UP Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath has already expressed his dissatisfaction about these flaws.

PM-Kisan: 30 November is the last date to Link Aadhaar
