ICAR Signs MoU with Asia-Pacific Association of Agricultural Research Institutions for Joint Research
ICAR has signed MoU with the Asia-Pacific Association of Agricultural Research Institutions for Joint Research, documentation of good agricultural practices etc.
The long working relationship of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) with Asia-Pacific Association of Agricultural Research Institutions (APAARI) based in Bangkok, Thailand was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) last week.
According to information available, the Memorandum of Understanding intends to encourage scientists exchange, joint research, capacity building of human resources, documentation of good agricultural practices & success stories of innovations & technologies that the nations in the Asia as well as Pacific region can mutually benefit.
In addition, strategic establishment of Centres of Excellence has also been envisaged.
