International Expo on Agriculture & Dairy Technology to Kickstart in Ludhiana
The India Agri Progress Expo 2023 is expected to serve as a one-stop location where farmers can get a close-up look at the most advanced technological machinery and equipment
The Ludhiana Exhibition Centre in Punjab's Sahnewal city is slated to host an international exhibition on dairy technology and agricultural machinery from January 20–22, 2023.
The third edition of the expo is being put on by Udan Media and Communication Pvt Ltd with assistance from the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), the Indian Council for Agricultural Research, the Bureau of Indian Standards, and the central Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (ICAR).
Additionally, the Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers Association (AMMA, India) is supporting it. The event is being organized in collaboration with the Punjab State Agriculture Implement Manufacturer Association (PSAIMA).
The India Agri Progress Expo 2023 is anticipated to act as a one-stop venue where farmers may have a first-hand look at the most cutting-edge technical equipment and machinery that assist them to improve their capabilities.
Amid the central government actively working towards doubling the earnings of farmers and those associated with the agriculture sector, the forthcoming expo seeks to promote the usage of new-age technology in the agriculture sector and boom its economy.
At the event, exhibitors will show off equipment that will aid farmers in managing their dairy and crop production. Here, equipment for managing stubble, an irrigation system, drone technology, and other things will be on show. Additionally, farmers are currently experiencing a labor shortage, which machines can assist them to solve.
Since the Indian government has designated 2023 as the year of millets, the venue will also be used to raise awareness of the applications and advantages of the millet crop.
200 firms from all over India would exhibit their newest products in the agriculture and allied categories at the exhibition. Over 3,000 items, including combines, tractors, super seeders, straw reapers, laser levellers, threshers, power tillers, disc harrows, and sprayers, would be on show. Additionally, top-notch dairy and food processing gear would be on display.
Further, it is speculated that this expo will assist Indian SMEs (small- and medium-sized firms) in modernizing their sector and further our goal of 'Make in India'.
