Kisan Credit Card: All PM Kisan Beneficiaries of This State will get KCC; Know Details
Amid the ongoing farmer’s protest, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered officials to issue Kisan Credit Card (KCC) to all beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-KISAN) in the state by running a campaign till April 15, 2021.
Amid the ongoing farmer’s protest, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered officials to issue Kisan Credit Card (KCC) to all beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-KISAN) in the state by running a campaign till April 15, 2021. As per reports, farmers with smallholdings will be given preference to avail the benefit of Kisan Credit Card.
Moreover, for the first time in the state, 27 departments have been asked to coordinate towards the common goal of the welfare of farmers. However, due to Covid-19 pandemic across the states, Kisan Credit Cards couldn’t be given to the farmers even after the Agriculture Department submitted the farmers’ applications to the financial institutions.
Yogi Aditya Nath has ordered to start campaign in all villages to issue KCC.
As per reports, the Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture Devesh Chaturvedi, has issued letters to all District Magistrates, Chief Development Officers (CDO) and Deputy Directors of Agriculture and has instructed officials to complete the verification process.
Moreover, the state government is also going to start an integrated development scheme to make the farmers self-reliant.
For the financial year 2021-2022, Rs 100 crore has been allocated for the scheme.
The plan includes identifying more crops in every agro-climatic zone of the state, promotion of new technology and investment in agriculture, value addition of selected products, creating a market for Agri-produce preparation and setting up of farmers production organizations at every block level, says reports.

Co-operative Bank, Regional Rural Bank, National Payments Corporation of India, State Bank of India, Bank of India and Industrial Development Bank of India.
How to Download Form?
To download the KCC form, visit the official website pmkisan.gov.in. On the right side of the former tab in the website, the option of Download Kisan Credit Form (Download KKC Form) is given. From here print the form and fill it and go to the nearest bank and submit it. The government has kept the validity of the card for five years.
Interest on KYC:
Loans up to Rs 3 lakh are provided to farmers from KCC. Although the interest rate on the loan is 9 percent, but on KCC, the government gives a subsidy of two percent.
