Kisan Credit Card: How to Apply for New KCC Online Sitting at home? Check Documents Required & Other Details

Amid rising cases of Coronavirus all over the country, there's a good news for the farming community. Now farmers can get their Kisan Credit Card made from their mobiles.

Kisan Credit Card is a scheme of the Central Government which allows farmers to take loans for various agriculture purposes. Under this scheme, a farmer can get Kisan Credit Card (KCC) and avail loans with lowest interest rate. Till now, many schemes have been implemented by the Central Government for crores of farmers across the country. However, due to lack of information, many farmers are not able to get their Kisan Credit Card and unable to avail all the benefits from this central government scheme.

In such a situation, in this article we will tell you how farmers can apply for a new kisan credit card from their mobiles. Along with this, you will also give information about all the necessary documents for the Kisan Credit Card.

The Kisan Credit Card Yojana (Kisan Credit Card Yojana) was started in the year 1998 by the Central Government to encourage the farmers. But at that time, this scheme (KCC Scheme) was not that much popularity among farmers due to lack of awareness.

But after the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana launched in the year 2019, farmers took special interest in the Kisan Credit Card Scheme. Because the Central Government had made the Kisan Credit Card mandatory for the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Yojana.

Important Documents for KCC

If you want to apply for this scheme then you must have Voter ID card / PAN card / Passport / Aadhaar card / Driving license etc. for ID proof, acknowledgement of the land, the Khasra number of the land and all other documents along with the Aadhaar card.

How to Apply for KCC through mobile?

Farmers can apply from the official website of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Yojana - pmkisan.gov.in

Or you can apply like this. Farmers can simply apply for KCC through their mobiles. To apply for the card, they must follow these steps:

First visit the website of the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare in their mobile browser.

Here, first you have to look for APPLY NEW KCC.

Here you will be asked the CSC ID and Password.

After entering it, you have to click once again on APPLY NEW KCC.

After this you have to enter the Aadhaar number. (It has to be entered by the same applicant whose name is associated with the PM Kisan Scheme)

As soon as you enter the Aadhaar number, information related to PM Kisan Financial Detail will open automatically with a form.

Here you have to click on issue fresh KCC. (Loan Amount & Beneficiary Mobile Number has to be entered)

After entering the information of Name of Village and Khasra Number etc. Click on Submit Details.

New interface will open, where you will be asked to make the payment, which you will have to submit from the balance of CSC ID.

After this, your Kisan Credit Card will be ready.
