Krishi Manthan-6 starts today in Bhopal

The 6th edition of Krishi Manthan “National Agribusiness Summit” kickstarted on Friday at SIAET, Bhopal. The 2-day event has been organized by the Integrated Socio-Economic Development Services (ISED).

This year, Business Innovation and Collaboration Meet is themed for promoting linkages between FPOs, SHGs, start-ups, knowledge institutions, business organizations, and service providers for knowledge transfer, mutual trade, integration of business models, and business activities to enhance sustained livelihood options in rural areas.

For the event, the biggies of agriculture and related sector have given their valuable contribution, while Krishi Jagran is the media partner for the ongoing edition of Krishi Manthan-6. Further, ITSC, Himvanshnee, FPO, Rani Durgawati, Kareli Organic Farmers Producers Company Limited, and many other organizations are participating in the summit.

The well-organized and managed Agribusiness Summit aims to transfer value and knowledge to the farmers and participating organizations, and will also honour the work done by individuals as well as institutional organizations' excellence in the field of agriculture, agribusiness, food processing, and agricultural services, with the “Krishi Bhushan Awards”.

In the course of several years, the program has achieved huge success, with hundreds of people attending the event every year, of which many are board members of various Farmer's Organizations (FPO/FPCs) and cooperatives. One FPO represents approximately 1000+ farmers, implying that this program represents and has a business value of over 60,000 farmers.

The event in itself is a helping hand for farmers and benefits them with knowledge and expertise, connecting business and market opportunities, a vision for re-engineering the interventions, collaboration and working opportunities, and exposure to new products and services.
