Institute of Wood Science & Technology (IWST) is a research institute situated in Bangalore in Karnataka. It was founded in 1938. It works under the India Council of Forestry Research & Education of the Ministry of Environment & Forests, Govt. of India. It is recognized to be a Centre of Excellence for Sandalwood Research & Wood Science. 

IWST invites you all for the online training on “Sandalwood Farming & Management of its Health” 

Indian Sandalwood is known as “Royal Tree” & it is associated with Indian culture & heritage. India was contributing 85% of world’s trade of Sandalwood but it has been reduced to a negligible level in recent years. Due to certain changes in Government policies the cultivation of Sandalwood is gaining momentum. 

Training is free & there is no registration fee
