FMCCorporation reported first quarter 2021revenue of 1.2billion 

FMC Corporation reported first quarter 2021revenue of 1.2billion, a decrease of 4% versus first quarter 2020.Excluding a slight tailwind from foreign currencies, revenue declined 5% organically. On a GAAP basis, the company reported earnings of 1.40per diluted share in the first quarter, a decrease of 11% versus first quarter 2020. FMC Corporation president and chief executive officer Mark Douglas, said "Our first quarter financial results were largely as anticipated; we delivered revenue at the high end and earnings slightly above the midpoint of our guidance ranges. 

Valmont Industries to acquire Prospera Technologies 

Valmont Industries a leading global provider of engineered products and services for infrastructure and irrigation equipment and services for agriculture, announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Prospera Technologies (“Prospera”) a leading privately-held Israeli-based AI company, focused on ML and CV in agriculture. The transaction, valued at approximately 300 million, is expected to close in the second quarter of 2021. 

Meghmani Organics receives NCLT approval for scheme of arrangement 

Meghmani Organics announced that the National Company Law Tribunal, Ahmedabad Bench has approved the composite scheme of arrangement between Meghmani Organics, Meghmani Organochem  and Meghmani Finechem  on 03 May 2021 and has been uploaded on the NCLT website on 04 May 2021. 

Bejo completely switches to improved sustainable seed coating

Therefore, the company announced that all Bejo coated seeds are now processed with the improved sustainable coating. The new coating is made of natural materials that decompose completely. The coating has a shorter drying time, which helps to preserve the seed’s vitality and cuts energy use. The coating is approved by the organic certification bodies. 

Transfer of CSIR-CMERI technologies to three MSMEs 

CSIR-Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute transferred its Oxygen Concentrator Technology and High Flow Rate Iron Removal Plant Technology virtually. Oxygen Concentrator Technology was transferred to  C and I Calibrations Pvt. Ltd, Kota, Rajasthan and  SA CORP, IMT Manesar, Gurgaon. The High Flow Rate Iron Removal Plant Technology was transferred to Maa Durga Sales Agency, Guwahati. 

CSIR-CMERI to boost the MSMEs manufacturers to reach the masses 

CSIR-CMERI, Director, Prof. (Dr.) Harish Hirani, expressed that CSIR-CMERI is trying to boost the MSMEs so that they can manufacture the product  for its reach to the masses.
