National Fertilizers Limited Distributes Cotton Plucking Machines to Farmers
95 cotton plucking machines were given free of cost to the farmers in Haryana by National Fertilizers Limited under its Corporate Social Responsibility. With the use of these machines distributed by the National Fertilizers Limited, farmers will be able to pluck the cotton quickly and easily
National Fertilizers Limited (NFL) has distributed 95 cotton plucking machines free of cost to the farmers in Haryana under its Corporate Social Responsibility.
The Cotton Plucking machines were given to the farmers on Thursday (15th October 2020) in two separate programs, one in Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Sadalpur, Hisar while the other in Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bhiwani. Chairman & Managing Director of the company, Virendra Nath Dutt was the chief guest of both the programs.
During his speech, Dutt explained the social responsibility programs being undertaken by National Fertilizers Limited for the farmers and also gave a brief demonstration to the farmers about the use of cotton plucking machines. The demonstration helped the growers understand the as to how to use the machines.
The program was also attended by Chief General Manager Marketing, Anil Motsara and Zonal Manager of Chandigarh Office of the company, Dilbag Singh.
It must be noted that with the use of machines distributed by the National Fertilizers Limited, farmers will be able to pluck the cotton quickly and easily. Till now the company has distributed more than 500 such cotton plucking machines to farmers all over the country, mainly in states like Haryana, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana etc.
