Organic Farming Subsidy: Government is Providing Rs. 10,800 per year to Farmers; Details Inside

Subsidy on Organic Farming: Chemical-rich farming has a negative impact on human health, soil, and the environment. The use of chemical pesticides or pesticides on crops is toxic to humans and can have both acute & chronic health effects, depending on the quantity and ways in which an individual is exposed.
Subsidy available for doing Organic Farming
Farmers should quickly switch to organic farming as several schemes have been initiated by the government in this direction. Not only this, the government provides subsidies and other benefits to farmers who are practicing organic farming. Farmers who are interested but don't know how to start are also given training.
Get Financial Assistance of Rs 10,800 per annum
The Madhya Pradesh government has launched the "Madhya Pradesh Pratikriti Krishi Vikas Yojana," a scheme for farmers. Under this, farmers who do organic cultivation together with animal husbandry will be given a grant of Rs. 10,800 per year. This scheme is not open to farmers who only do animal rearing.
Selection Process of Beneficiaries
Under the Madhya Pradesh Pratikriti Krishi Vikas Yojana, a total of 5200 villages and 26,000 farmers in 52 districts of the state will be covered. In this, 100 villages from every district and 5 farmers from every village will be given the title of master trainer by providing him training in natural farming. After that, these master trainers will tell the tricks of natural farming to the farmers rearing cows in their respective areas.
Know how much you will earn through this scheme
Farmers who rear cows or are involved in animal husbandry and do natural farming on at least 1 acre will get a subsidy of Rs 900 through this scheme. In other words, a farmer who raises even a single cow qualifies for Rs 10,800 per year.
On the other hand, the master trainer farmers will get Rs 1000 per month for teaching natural farming.
Along with this subsidy, many other subsidies like Mission Organic Value Chain Development for North Eastern Region (MOVCDNER), Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana (PKVY), National Mission on Oilseeds and Oil Palm (NMOOP), have been launched by the government in order to support those farmers who do natural farming.
