Organic Farming: Win Cash Prize of Rs 51000 for Designing Logo & Tagline

Organic farming can be of great help in reducing the cost of cultivation and increasing the income of the farmers. In view of this, the Government of Bihar is running the “Organic Corridor Scheme” in 13 districts of the state to promote organic farming in the state.

So far, 187 farmer groups of the state have registered under this scheme. The state government has invited the common people to make a tagline and logo to promote and popularize organic farming among the farmers. People from all the states are eligible to apply.

If the tagline of the participant is selected, he/she will be awarded a prize.

Criteria for the Tag Line

• The tagline should be concise. (recommended not to exceed 10 words)

• The line should embody organic and sustainable agriculture, toxin-free farming, nutritional benefits, and food security.

• The tagline should be easily understandable and contemporary.

• The line should resonate with the value of organic farming among various stakeholders.

Criteria for the Logo

• The logo (symbol) should reflect the essence of organic farming, food security, nutritional security, and safe and sustainable agriculture.

• The message should be conveyed through the logo that organic farming is a transformative opportunity that will help farmers to get better prices for their produce and to go for toxic-free agriculture.

• The logo should be contemporary and easily understandable.

• The logo should be vibrant and modern.

• Each entry should be accompanied by a brief, rational and constructive explanation of ideas (not to exceed 100 words).

The Prize money

According to the Bihar Agriculture Director, two awards will be given: for the Logo designing, the selected winner will be given Rs 51,000 and a citation for this work & the selected winner of the tagline (promotional sentence) will be given Rs 21,000 and a citation.

How to apply for Tagline and Logo?

You can apply for this till 11.59 pm on 21 September 2021. All applications shall be submitted online or enveloped with caption (Tag Line Writing Contest) to the address given below.
