PM Kisan: Centre Transfers Rs. 19,500 Crore to Over 9.75 Crore Farmers; Check Status Here

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has released the much-awaited 9th installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme (PM-Kisan) today (August 9) at 12:30 PM via video conferencing. Narendra Singh Tomar, Union Agriculture Minister was also present on the occasion.

According to official press release, PM Modi has transferred an amount of over Rs 19,500 crores to more than 9.75 crores farmer beneficiaries via video conferencing. Besides addressing the nation, Prime Minister also interacted with PM-Kisan beneficiaries during the event.

How to check PM-Kisan Status

Go to the official website of PM Kisan – https://pmkisan.gov.in/

Now look for ‘Farmer’s Corner Section on the homepage

Then select ‘Beneficiary Status’. Here, farmer can check his application/payment status. The list will have the name of farmer name & the amount sent to his bank account.

Now enter either your Account Number or Aadhar Number or Mobile Number.

Then click on the ‘Get data’

Go to Farmers’ Corner at PM Kisan official

Click on beneficiary list link

Then select your State; District; Sub-District; Block & Village.

Click on Get report.

Who are eligible for PM Kisan?

• Landholding farmers’ with cultivable landholding are eligible for this scheme

• Farmers from rural & urban areas

Who are not eligible for PM Kisan?

Tax paying people, professionals like doctors, engineers or lawyers & Institutional landholders are not eligible for PM Kisan scheme. In addition, families holding constitutional posts or retired person with pension above Rs 10,000 / month cannot apply for it.

PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is one of the most beneficial scheme for farmers, launched by the Modi Government in 2018. Under this scheme, an amount of Rs. 6,000 is transferred to the farmers every year in three instalments of Rs. 2,000 each.
