PM Kisan Big Update! Government to Release 12th Installment on October 17

Here’s an important update for over 12 crore farmers of India who are eagerly waiting for the 12th installment of PM Kisan Yojana.

Farmers who have not updated their e-KYC then they will not get the next installment whenever it is released

According to an official statement released by the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, the government will release the much-awaited 12th installment of PM Kisan Yojana on 17 & 18 October 2022 during Agri-startup Conclave & Kisan Sammelan. 

It is important to mention that so far, the government has released 11 installments under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana and the last one was transferred on 31st May.

Under PM Kisan Yojana, the 1st installment in a financial year is transferred between April 1 and July 31. The 2nd installment is sent between August 1 and November 30. And the 3rd installment is released between December 1 and March 31.

To confirm if you will receive the financial assistance or not, do check your application status or payment status on the official website. 

How to Check PM Kisan Payment Status

Step 1 – Go to the official website

Step 2 – Look for Farmers Corner option on the homepage

Step 3 - Now click on the ‘Beneficiary Status’ option. A new page will open.

Step 4 – Enter either your Mobile number or registration number to proceed further.

Step 5 - Click on get data.

Step 6 – Your details will come on the screen. Check it carefully

Call at 155261 to know your status.

Those who have not completed e-KYC will face problem

Farmers who have not yet completed their e-KYC under PM Kisan Nidhi Yojana may face problems in getting the 12th installment. The government had made e-KYC compulsory for all the beneficiaries of the PM Kisan scheme. The last date to complete the e-KYC details was 31 August 2022.

In the past few months, many scams were reported under PM Kisan wherein ineligible people had taken the benefit of the scheme by submitting fake documents.
