PM-Kisan First Instalment to be Released Anytime This Week; Check Payment Details & Beneficiary Status Here

The Modi government will transfer the first instalment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in the bank accounts of crores of farmers in the first week of April. The decision to transfer money in the first week itself was taken after situation become worse due to rising cases of Coronavirus in the country.  Government didn’t wanted farmers to suffer from the present crisis and hence it had decided to release the first instalment before scheduled time.

To recall, under PM-Kisan yojana, the Centre gives a fixed amount of Rs 6,000 every year, in three equal instalments of Rs 2000 to the farmers, subject to certain exclusion criteria pertaining to higher income status.

To know whether the money has reached in your bank accounts or not – you have two options - go to the official website of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana or open PM-Kisan mobile app in your phone.  

How to check PM-Kisan Beneficiary Status on website/phone

To check the status of your account, follow the steps given below;

Step 1- Go to the official portal of PM-Kisan -https://www.pmkisan.gov.in/

Step 2 – After that look for ‘Farmers corner’ at the menu bar

Step 3 – Click the link that reads ‘know beneficiary status’

Step 4 – Then fill in your Account Number or Aadhaar Number or Mobile Number

Step 5 – Now tap on ‘get data’

Step 6 – Your PM Kisan status will be displayed on the screen
