In this regard, the Chief Secretary ordered the Deputy Commissioners of all districts to confirm uploading of the relevant revenue record, Aadhar-seeding of all beneficiary accounts, and completion of PM Kisan e-KYC formalities by Monday (5 September 2022).

He also asked them to pay special focus on identification and removal of ineligible beneficiaries as well as recovery of false claims.

Dr. Kumar also asked JK Bank to raise public awareness among the customers via text messages, especially regarding the upcoming installment of PM Kisan Yojana, which will be credited directly into the Aadhar-seeded bank accounts of farmers through DTB.

The Divisional Commissioners of both divisions will involve public representatives as well as concerned line departments in accelerating the collection of requisite scheme-related data.

In order to raise awareness on the compulsory Aadhar-seeding & authentication of beneficiaries under several government schemes, Dr. Kumar asked the Information Department to run advertisement campaigns in all vernacular newspapers.

PM Kisan Yojana: Congress Slams Modi Government

The Congress said that the Central government is issuing notices to farmers considered ineligible under the PM-Kisan yojana to take back the money given to them.

It also asked the Centre to immediately stop the recovery from “poor annadaatas/poor farmers”.
