The government has made this big change to eliminate the fraudulent activities happening under this scheme. The government has taken this decision after getting complaints of disturbances. Now the Modi government will annually deposit 6 thousand rupees in the accounts of only those farmers whose fields are in their name.
Documents Required to get the Benefit of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi
According to the new rule made by the government, farmers should have the field on their name. As per the old rules, those farmers were also availing the benefits of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi whose farms were not registered in their name, instead registered on their fathers, grandfathers. But now, as per the new rule, the farmers whose farms are not registered in their name, will have to file the farm in their name. Then only, they can avail the benefit of 6 thousand rupees annually.
Who can Avail the Benefit of the Scheme?
As per the new rule, to avail the benefit of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, farmers will have to provide their plot number in the application form at the time of enrolment. Farmers who have joint land will not get the benefit of the scheme. He will have to file some part of the land in his own name.
Now, the farmers who have been cultivating on someone else’s land will not get the benefit of this scheme. However, if the farmer is taking the advantage of this scheme and he dies, then his family will continue to get the advantage of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi.
Under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, farmers are given 6 thousand rupees annually in their bank accounts in three instalments. This is the central government scheme. At last, the government has given the 7th instalment to the farmers and preparations are being made for the 8th instalment.
