The government has started PM Kisan Maandhan Yojana scheme to save the farmers in their old age. Any farmer between the age of 18 to 40 years can invest in this scheme. Under this scheme, a farmer gets a monthly pension of up to Rs 3,000.
To get the benefit of this scheme, farmers will have to make monthly investment between Rs 55 to Rs 200. On the death of the account holder, his wife will get 50 percent pension.

How to apply for PM Kisan Mandhaan Yojana?
The eligible farmer will have to go to the nearest CSC (Common Service Center) to apply for PM Kisan Maandhan Yojana. There, in the enrollment process, you will have to provide your savings bank account number along with Aadhaar card and IFSC code. The initial contribution amount in cash will be given to the Village Level Entrepreneur (VLE).
Then the VLE will enter the Aadhaar number, customer's name and date of birth as printed on the Aadhaar card for authentication. He will complete the online registration, which will include updating details like bank account, mobile number, e-mail.
Further the system will automatically calculate the monthly contribution payable as per the age of the subscriber. The subscriber shall pay the first subscription amount in cash to the VLE.
Enrollment cum Auto Debit Mandate Form will be printed and further signed by the customer. VLE will scan it and upload it in the system. Then a Unique Kisan Pension Account Number (KPAN) will be generated and Kisan Card will be printed.
