PM Kisan: Meeting Held to Review Implementation and Progress of Scheme

Atal Dulloo, Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) of Agriculture Production Department (APD), Jammu and Kashmir chaired a meeting on Thursday to review the implementation of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in the Union Territory before the release of 13th installment under the scheme, according to media reports.

PM Kisan Update: The meeting was attended by Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Secretary in Agriculture Production Department, Special Secretary APD, Regional Director Survey & Land records Jammu (Nodal Officer), District Development Commissioners (district level chairman PM KISAN), Assistant Commissioners Revenue, District Nodal Officers, Director Agriculture Kashmir & Jammu, Chief Agriculture Officers, representatives of Bank Ltd etc.

Kashmir-based officers, DDCs, ADDCs, ACRs, CAOs & district users of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana attended the meeting via video conferencing.

According to reports, the Additional Chief Secretary in detail discussed the achievements, targets, pendency & recoveries, seeding of bank accounts with Aadhaar number of farmers, e-KYC, and linking with revenue records from every district with regard to the scheme. 

During the meeting, everybody was informed about the targets, achievements & pendency in Record of Rights (RoR) as well as e-KYC uploadings etc.

Besides this, removing ineligible beneficiaries, income tax payees, and government employees who have received PM Kisan installments were also discussed.

The meeting also deliberated on bulk uploading of revenue records, e-KYC pendency etc.

Dulloo asked the lead bank to saturate bank accounts of beneficiaries with their Aadhaar & NPCI (for DBT). He also asked for the breakup of pendency from each district of J&K.

He urged the concerned officers, and Lead Bank Managers to coordinate to rsolve issues, if any, to clear all the pendency. The ACS held a meeting with the Lead Bank Officers regarding the updation of beneficiary data on NPCI (National Payments Corporation of India) platform of Government of India. He asked them to ensure the collection of mandates and maximum data updation.

Dulloo instructed the Directors of Agriculture Kashmir & Jammu to guarantee clearing all eKYC pendency as the next installment of PM Kisan will be released soon. He also directed the concerned officials to find and register any left-out eligible farmers so that everyone could get the benefits of government scheme.

Previously, the Additional Chief Secretary reviewed the execution of PM Gati Shakti-National Master Plan in Jammu & Kashmir. Many officials including Secretary in Agriculture Production Department, DG, Industries, Jammu (Nodal Officer) TSG PM Gati Shakti, DG, Sericulture Development, DG, Sheep Husbandry Kashmir, Director Sheep Husbandry Jammu, Director Horticulture, Managing Director Agro Industries Ltd etc., attended the meeting.
