PM Kisan: Modi Transfers Rs 20,000 crores to 10 crore Farmers; Check Your Status & Payment Details Here

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has released the 10th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana today (1 January 2022) at 12:30 pm. An official statement from the Prime Minister's Office said that this is in line with the Central Government's continued effort and resolve to empower the farmers in India.

Modi has released more than Rs 20,000 crores to over 10 crore beneficiaries of PM Kisan, said the PMO. Under PM-KISAN yojana, a financial assistance of Rs 6,000 per year is given to the farmers in three equal installments of Rs 2,000 each. The money is transferred directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. A Samman Rashi of more than Rs 1.6 lakh crore has been transferred so far to farmer families.

During the program, PM Modi also released an equity grant of Rs 14 crores to 351 Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) that will benefit as many as 1.24 lakh farmers. Modi interacted with various FPOs during the event and also addressed the nation on New Year.

Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar was also present on the occasion.

How to check PM-Kisan status & payment details

Farmers can follow the steps given below to check their account, payment details;

Step 1 – Go to the official website 

Step 2 – Look for Farmers Corner at the right-hand side on the homepage

Step 3 – Now click on Beneficiary status

Step 4 – Now enter either your Aadhaar Number or Account Number or Mobile Number

Step 5 – Then click on Get Data

Step 6 – Data will be displayed on the screen and you can check accordingly

The last installment of PM Kisan was released in August 2020.
