PM Kisan Update: 13th Installment to be Released in December? Details Inside

Good news for crores of farmers waiting for the 13th installment of PM Kisan Yojana! Government is likely to transfer Rs. 2000 to farmers account in December.

According to several media reports, the Central Government will release the much-awaited 13 installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana this month and preparations for the same has already been started. However, there is no official announcement by the government regarding this so far.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led-Central Government has launched many schemes to improve and strengthen the economic situation of farmers across the country and PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is one of them. PM Modi and his cabinet is closely monitoring this scheme so that the benefit reaches to more and more farmers across the country.

PM Narendra Modi recently in a tweet said that “The country is proud of its farmers. I am glad that PM Kisan Samman Nidhi and other schemes related to agriculture are giving new strength to crores of farmers of the country.”

e-KYC is mandatory for PM Kisan Yojana

The government has made e-KYC mandatory for all the farmers – whether new or existing. Hence those who have not yet completed the e-KYC may not get the upcoming installment of Rs. 2000. They can contact the nearest common service centre or agriculture department for more details.

Also, it is important for the farmers to check beneficiary status to confirm if they will receive the money or not. Follow the steps given below to check your application and payment details.

• Go to PM Kisan website

• Look for farmers corner and click on beneficiary status option

• Now enter your registration number or mobile number

• Click on get data

• Your status will be displayed on the screen

Under PM Kisan Yojana, farmers are given financial assistance of Rs 6,000 per year in three installments of Rs 2000 each. The first installment under this scheme is given between 1 April to 31 July, while the second installment is given between August 1 to November 30. And the third installment is transferred between December 1 to March 31.
