PM Kisan Update: Good news for crores of farmers in the country. The much-awaited 10th installment of PM Kisan Samman Yojana will be released in a few days. This time, many beneficiaries of PM Kisan Yojana will get Rs. 4000 instead of Rs 2000.

Central Government had launched Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana to provide financial assistance to the farmers. Under this scheme, the Modi government provides Rs. 6000 to the farmers every year. The amount is given in three installments of Rs. 2000 each. The government directly transfers all three installments of PM Kisan Yojana into eligible farmers’ accounts.

Who will get Rs. 4000

According to government data, till now 11.37 crore farmers of the country have been given financial assistance of Rs 1.58 lakh crore under this scheme. According to media reports, by 15th of December, the central government will release the tenth installment of PM Kisan Yojana. Normally farmers get Rs. 2000 in every installment, but this time the 9th and 10th installments of some farmers may come together.

This is because many farmers have not yet received the 9th installment of the scheme, which was released in August due to certain reasons. Hence these farmers will get the 9th installment along with the 10th installment this month. This means they will get Rs. 4000 instead of Rs 2000.

Government to take strict action against these farmers

However, there have been many cases where people have been misusing or wrongly taking benefit of the scheme. If you are one of them then be careful as the government is strictly identifying the farmers who are taking financial assistance under PM Kisan Yojana by giving wrong information. The Centre is recovering money from all these people. It has also requested people to submit correct information.
