PM Kisan Yojana Beneficiaries will Get Rs. 42,000 in a year; Know How?

Do you know that farmers who have registered themselves under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana get some additional benefits along with financial assistance of Rs. 6000 per year. The Central Government transfers Rs. 6000 annually into the accounts of farmers under PM-Kisan Yojana. The money is sent in three equal installments of Rs.2000 each. When you open an account under PM-Kisan Yojana, you automatically get registered under PM Kisan Maandhan Yojana, which is a pension scheme.

Under PM Kisan Maandhan Yojana, farmers are given Rs. 3000 per month in the form of pension. In this way, they get Rs. 36,000  in a year as pension.

What is PM Kisan Maandhan Yojana?

Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maandhan Yojana is a government scheme that provides monthly pension to small and marginal farmers in the country. Under this scheme,  a farmer is given pension of Rs 3000 per month after the age of 60 years, i.e. Rs 36,000 annually. Till now, lakhs of farmers are taking the benefit of PM Kisan Maandhan Yojana. If you have not registered for PM Kisan Samman Yojana, then you will have to contribute according to your age (18 years-40 years) to avail this pension scheme.

What additional benefit is given to PM-Kisan beneficiaries 

After completing 60 years, a farmer will get monthly pension of Rs. 3000 along with Rs. 6000 under PM-Kisan scheme. In this way, after 60 years, you will get a total of Rs 42,000 in the year. So isn’t it beneficial for the farmers.

If a farmer is taking advantage of PM Kisan Samman Yojana, then he will not need to submit any documents for PM Kisan Maandhan Yojana. At the time of registration in PM Kisan Samman Nidhi all your important documents are deposited with the government. The only thing you will have to do is  choose the pension option.
