PM Kisan Yojana: Deadline to Complete e-KYC Extended; Check New Date, Online & Offline Process

According to a notification on the official website, “The deadline of eKYC for all the PM-KISAN beneficiaries has been extended till 22nd May 2022”.

There’s a big news for the farmers taking benefit of PM Kisan Yojana. The government has finally extended the last date to complete eKYC on the PM Kisan website. Farmers worried about completing the mandatory eKYC till 31 March 2022 can now be relaxed as the last date for the same has been pushed to 22 May 2022.

According to a notification on the official website, “The deadline of eKYC for all the PM-KISAN beneficiaries has been extended till 22nd May 2022”.

Let me tell you that Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is a central scheme introduced with a motive to provide financial assistance to landholding farmer families in the country, subject to certain exclusion criteria.

Under PM Kisan scheme, all landholding farmers' families are entitled to get monetary assistance of Rs 6,000 per annum. The amount is released in three equal installments of Rs 2,000 after every four months. And the money is transferred directly into the farmer’s bank account.

11th Installment Date

The last or 10th installment was released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 1, 2022 (New Year). The 11th installment under the scheme is expected to be released in the first week of April 2022.

Step by step process to complete PM Kisan e-KYC online

Step 1: Go to the PM Kisan's official website

Step 2: Click on the eKYC option available on the right side of the homepage

Step 3: Now enter your Aadhaar Card number and captcha code

Step 4: Click on the search button

Step 5: Enter your mobile number linked with the Aadhaar card

Step 6: Click on 'Get OTP' & enter the OTP in the specified field.

Your eKYC will be completed when all the details match, or else, it would be marked as invalid. In this case, you will have to contact the local Aadhar Seva Kendra.

Complete PM Kisan eKYC Offline

Besides completing PM Kisan eKYC online, you can also opt for the offline version. For this, you will have to visit the nearest Common Service Center (CSC). Give your Aadhar card details to get their KYC verification completed.
