PM Kisan Double Income: Now Farmers Will Get Rs 4000 Instead of Rs. 2000

BIG NEWS for the beneficiaries of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. As per media reports, the government is planning to give them Rs 4000 instead of Rs 2000. This means farmers will get double benefit before Diwali.

BIG NEWS for the beneficiaries of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. As per media reports, the government is planning to send Rs 4000 instead of Rs 2000 to farmer's bank account under its most successful scheme - PM KISAN. 

Keeping in mind its vision of doubling farmer’s income, the central government is mulling to increase the amount of PM Kisan Yojana. If this happens, farmers will get Rs 12000 in three installments every year instead of Rs 6000.

Media reports also mentioned that Bihar Agriculture Minister Amrendra Pratap Singh recently met Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in Delhi, wherein they discussed about increasing the amount received under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. However, no decision has been taken on this yet.

PM Kisan New Farmer Registration

If you have not yet registered for PM Kisan Scheme then do it now so as to get double benefit. The last date to register is on 30 September. After registration, if your application is accepted within the time limit then you will get Rs 2000 into your bank account till November. 

Moreover, you will get another installment of Rs 2000 in December. This means, a total of Rs. 4000 will come to your account.

PM Kisan list: How to check your name 
PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana beneficiaries can check their name in the beneficiary list at the official website - pmkisan.gov.in.

  • First of all, you have to visit the official website pmkisan.gov.in.
  • Look for the Farmers Corner option.
  • Then click on Beneficiaries List. Then a list will appear in front of you.
  • Select the state, district, sub-district, block, and village and click on Get Report. A complete list of beneficiaries will appear. Then you can check your name.
