PM Kisan Yojana Latest Update: 12th Installment to be Released Before Dussehra

Under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, farmers are given financial assistance of Rs. 6000 every year. This amount is given to the farmers in three installments of Rs. 2000 each. So far, the government has disbursed 11 installments, and now farmers are eagerly waiting for the next installment.

Previous media reports claimed that the government will release the installment in September and as now only two days are left for the month to get over, it is expected that farmers will get the money in anytime.

On the other hand, sources are saying that the 12th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will be transferred to the farmers' account before Dussehra.

Check your Name in Beneficiary List

If you are waiting for the 12th installment and want to check your name on beneficiary list then follow the steps given below;

• First, you will have to go to PM Kisan website

• Click on ‘Beneficiary List’ under the ‘Farmers Corner’ section on the homepage

• A new page will open wherein you have to select your state, district, sub-district, block & village from the dropdown.

• Finally click on ‘Get Report’.

• Look for your name, if it’s there, you will receive the money.

Reason for delay in releasing 12th Installment

In the past few months, there have been many scams and cases where ineligible people took advantage of this scheme with the help of fake papers. To avoid all this, the verification of land records of farmers is being done very carefully. The investigation of these land records is still going on in few states.

PM Kisan 12th installment will not be given without e-KYC

It is mandatory for all beneficiaries of PM Kisan yojana to complete their e-KYC. Those who fail to do so will not get the money. The eKYC can be done offline at CSC centres and online by visiting the official website.

The government has issued a helpline number for the farmers. To know the status of the application farmers can call on 155261 and get all the information.
