PM Modi Launches Three Mega Projects in Gujarat including Kisan Suryodaya Yojana for Farmers

Three Big Projects has been launched in Gujarat that includes Kisan Suryodaya Yojana for Farmers. PM Modi launched the projects early in the morning today.

PM Modi today inaugurated 3 projects that includes Kisan Suryodaya Yojana for the growers in Gujarat. Prime Minister will also inaugurate the Paediatric Heart Hospital attached with UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology & Research Centre in Ahmedabad, a mobile app for telecardiology at the Ahmedabad Civil Hospital & a ropeway at Mount Girnar near Junagadh in Junagadh district.

Under this new agriculture scheme, farmers can avail power supply from 5am till 9pm for irrigation. It must be noted that the project was recently announced by Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani. He allocated a budget of Rs 3,500 crores to install transmission infrastructure under this scheme by the year 2023.

Prime Minister said “I would like to congratulate the government of Gujarat that this work is being done by preparing a completely new capacity of transmission that too without affecting the other systems.

Districts that have been covered under the scheme for 2020-21 are Dahod, Patan, Mahisagar, Panchmahal, Tapi, Valsad, Chhota Udepur, Kheda Anand and Gir-Somnath. The remaining will be included in a phased manner by 2022-23.

PM Modi said that the UN Mehta Institute that has been inaugurated today will become country’s biggest hospital for cardiology. It will also become the biggest single super-speciality cardiac teaching institute in India and one of the biggest single super speciality cardiac hospitals in the world.

In addition, the ropeway at Girnar will at first have 25 to 30 cabins with a capacity of eight people per cabin. It will cover a distance of 2.3 kms in just less than 8 minutes. It will provide a scenic view of the Girnar mountain.

Modi on Friday tweeted that “Boosting the tourism potential of Gujarat! A Ropeway at Girnar will also be among the projects launched tomorrow. Thanks to the ropeway, tourists can get a spectacular view of the area surrounding the Girnar mountain”.
