PMKSY: Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana to generate 5, 30,500 Direct/ Indirect Jobs in India
PMKSY is likely to generate 5, 30,500 direct or indirect employments in India. An additional new scheme "Operation Greens (OG)" was launched in PMKSY in November 2018 with an outlay of Rs 500 Crores.
Minister of State for Food Processing Industries Rameswar Teli said that Ministry of Food Processing industries (MoFPI) has been implementing Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana or PMKSY for overall growth as well as development of food processing sector.
PMKSY is likely to generate 5, 30,500 direct or indirect employments in India. An additional new scheme "Operation Greens (OG)" was launched in PMKSY in November 2018 with an outlay of Rs 500 Crores.

About Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana?
The Central Sector Scheme - SAMPADA i.e. Scheme for Agro-Marine Processing & Development of Agro-Processing Clusters was approved by the Government in May 2017. The scheme has now been renamed as Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana (PMKSY)
