On 8 September, non-agricultural land registration was suspended in Telangana and again reinstated on 14 December. From Monday 14 December, Telangana will restart the registration process for non-agricultural properties. On Friday there was a soft starter on the one-stop site to register all assets in the state and it is open.

For booking slots with the date and time for registering non-agricultural properties, the registration site registration.telangana.gov.in can be used. The Meeseva centers can also be used for registration for Rs 200.

Although 100 slots a day will be allocated to a sub-registrar, only 24 slots a day for the time being are permitted. According to the Telangana Stamps and Inscriptions Department, the number of slots would increase with rising demand. These slots may be used for auction, acquisition, gift deeds, mortgage, etc.

If the people want to use the facilities of the website, they must use the Telangana Property Identification Number (TPIN) or (PTIN) Property Tax Identification Number. Those not having these identification numbers, as directed by the high court in Telangana, may contact their gram panchayats, municipalities, and municipal companies for generation within two working days.

A special window has been developed for builders and developers, so that new assets can be uploaded on a bulk basis. To date, 451 developers and architects have uploaded 93,874 houses. When a slot is booked via online payment, information about the position of the sub-registrar office are forwarded via SMS.

The launch of the TRS government's one-stop-portal Dharani for land transfer, update and registration was held on 8 September in Telangana. However, data collection encountered difficulties in the initiative. The Court of Telangana ordered the stamps and registry departments not to collect details of land buyers and sellers, such as adhaar and caste details.

Dharani portal was planned to provide the portal for the registration of non-agriculture lands. As Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar said when he spoke to media at the website launch, the merger has been delayed due to the situation. Kumar claimed that the merger between the two portals depends on the decision of the High Court of Telangana on the subject.
