What is the Chief Minister's Solar Energy Self-Employment Scheme?
This is the dream project of Chief Minister under which 25 KW capacity solar plants will be set up across the state. The design of the Chief Minister's Solar Energy Self-Employment Scheme has been prepared in such a way that a person with a capital of one and a half to two and a half lakh rupees can put up the project with the help of the government. It is estimated that the project will cost up to 10 lakh rupees.
Loan repayment period is 15 years
Arrangements have been made to take 70 percent of the amount under this project as loan from the State and District Cooperative Bank at the rate of 8 percent. With this, the repayment period has been kept for 15 years. Its equal monthly installment will be of lesser amount. This will not burden the developer. The remaining 30 percent margin money will be subsidized by the government.

Subsidy up to 15 percent in other districts
As per reports, the amount of subsidy will be received on margin money. Apart from this, stamp duty to be recovered for mortgages has also been waived. 7 percent of this stamp duty loan amount is taken, which is about 49 thousand rupees. A target has been made to provide employment to 10 thousand youths through this scheme.
Online Applications will start soon
The process of online application for the Chief Minister Solar Energy Self Employment Scheme will be started from October. You will be able to apply from the official website. A fee of Rs 500 has been fixed for its application. This payment will be through bank draft. A technical committee will be formed at the district level to examine applications under this scheme. The same committee will examine the applications.
