This State Govt is Paying Rs 100 crore Arrears to its Sugarcane Farmers

The Chief Minister continued by stating that the Aam Aadmi Government has given 100 crores as payment to the sugarcane farmers on Thursday and that it had been deposited in their accounts.

Aam Aadmi Government has given 100 crores as payment to the sugarcane farmers on Thursday and that it had been deposited in their accounts.

On Friday, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann released the outstanding payment of 100 crore rupees to the sugarcane farmers and declared that his government was dedicated to paying all pending farmer debt.

The state's cooperative sugar mills or the government were required to pay the state's sugarcane farmers' pending arrears, which totaled 295.60 crores, according to the chief minister.

Out of this, he claimed, the government paid 100 crores on July 29 of this year. According to Bhagwant Mann, there is still 195.60 crore in sugarcane farmers' unpaid debts. He assured the farmers that he would pay them 100 crores of those debts by August 15 and the remaining 95.60 cores by September 7 of this year.

The Chief Minister continued by stating that the Aam Aadmi Government has given 100 crores as payment to the sugarcane farmers on Thursday and that it had been deposited in their accounts. He said that the state government is committed to clearing all the pending arrears of government and cooperative sugar mills will be paid by September 7.

Even private sugar mills, with the exception of the Phagwara sugar mill, have pledged to pay back arrears to farmers by September 7, according to Bhagwant Mann.

The state's cooperative sugar mills have already paid the sugarcane farmers 526.27 crores out of the state's total arrears of 619.62 crores, according to the chief minister, with the payment of 100 crores. According to Bhagwant Mann, this payment applies to the seasons 2021–2022, and the state government is sincerely working to guarantee that any pending payments to the farmers are made as soon as possible. He added that it is the responsibility of the state government to protect the interests of the state's food growers.
