While a whole bunch of state farmers are agitating against the brand new farm legal guidelines on the borders with Delhi, the Yogi Adityanath authorities are likely to felicitate 100 "progressive farmers" in each district, 7,500 across the state, and hail them as "position fashions" as part of a "Kisan Kalyan Mission" beginning January 6.

'In each district, 100 progressive farmers will be chosen as role models and congratulated and their database will be prepared,' State Chief Secretary R.Ok. In a letter to all district magistrates, Tiwari claimed that MPs and MLAs could be invited to Farmer Fairs, which are likely to be organized in every block of Uttar Pradesh to coach farmers in terms of the latest farm legal guidelines and help them get benefits from the Centre's various schemes, such as Kisan Credit Cards, PM Kisan Samman Nidhi and PM Fasal Bima Yojana.

Apart from providing them with choices such as providing stubble for fodder in cow shelters, farmers are likely to be advised to go for diversified and natural farming so that farmers do not turn to stubble burning in winters, which leads to air pollution. At these Farmer Festivals, Kisan Credit Cards will likely be issued on the spot and any problem of farmers not getting the PM Kisan Nidhi installments as a result of the mismatch of details from Aadhaar or financial institution will likely be resolved.

Unless all blocks within the state are coated with 350 blocks within the first segment, the Kisan Kalyan Mission will continue for 3 months. For the cause that implementation of the brand-new farm legal guidelines can also be welcomed to certain farmer festivals and given identity certificates, the members of recent Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) constituted that they would share their knowledge with various farmers. Perhaps a dozen UP divisions would be involved.

The letter notes that farmers will also be advised with regard to the state's efforts to buy the Kharif crop on MSP in addition to other crops, and sugarcane farmers are likely to be educated about the approach to drip irrigation to save loads of water. 'The state government is committed to the interest of farmers and to eliminating all the challenges affecting farmers,' said the UP CM on the brand new push.
