Get Higher Yields by Cultivating these Improved Varieties of Wheat at Low Cost

Wheat is sown mostly after harvesting of sugarcane and paddy. Due to this, sowing of wheat gets delayed. In such a situation, before the sowing of wheat, we must make sure in advance which varieties of wheat to choose that will give better and higher yield in a short span of time.

To get good yield of wheat, selection of advanced species of wheat is very essential, so that the wheat crop is prepared as soon as possible. In this article, we will tell you about some of the advanced varieties of wheat which gives more yield in less time :-

Advanced Wheat Varieties

Hybrid 65 :-  

This wheat variety gets ready in 130 days.

Its yield is 13 to 19 quintals per hectare in non-irrigated condition.

Its grain is very shiny, weight of 1000 seeds is 42 grams.

Sonalika :-

This variety of wheat is of amber color.

It gets ready in 110 days.

This variety of wheat is suitable for delayed sowing.

The land can be sown after preparing the paddy. It yields 30 to 35 quintals per hectare.

Kalyan Sona (HDM 1593) :-

The grain of this variety of wheat is shiny and syrupy color.

This variety becomes reapable in 125 days. Its yield varies from 30 to 35 quintals per hectare.

WH 147 :-

This variety of wheat is suitable for irrigated conditions.

Its preparation time is 125 days.

Its grain is thick.

It yields 40 to 45 quintals per hectare.

HD 4530 :-

This variety of wheat is also suitable for irrigated conditions.

Its ripening time is 130 days.

Its grain is thick, mushy and hard.

It yields 35 quintals / ha.

Shera (HD 1925) :-

This variety is suitable for delayed sowing.

It gets ready in 110 days.

Its grain is attractive.

Its yield is about 30 quintals per hectare.

JW- 1106 :-

It is a medium-term variety (115-days) whose plants are of medium height.

The size of the seed is large and attractive.

More protein rich variety and its distilled yield is 40 - 50 quintal per hectare.

Harshit (HI- 1531) :- 

It is a medium wheat variety (75 - 90 cm height).

Its grains are curvy and shiny.

The crop duration is 115 days and yields more than 40 quintals per hectare in 1-2 irrigation.

Malavashri (HI-8381) :-

This is the best variety in the category of Kathia wheat.

Its plants are of 85 - 90 cm height.

This variety gives better production in 4-5 irrigation.

Its 1000 grains weigh 50 - 55 grams and yield capacity is 50 - 60 quintals per hectare.

Ratan :-

This variety developed by Indira Gandhi Agricultural University is good for sowing in Chhattisgarh.

This variety is ready in 112 days.

Its grain is round.

It gives an average yield of 19 quintals per hectare.

Arpa :-

This variety of wheat is good for entire Chhattisgarh for delayed sowing.

This variety is ready in 112 days.

It gives an average yield of 23-24 quintals per hectare.
