Miniature Plants

Nowadays miniature plants are gaining popularity as they look very attractive in small space home gardens of India. First of all, let me tell you that all small plants are not Bonsai. Although Bonsai is an art of purposely dwarfing the trees, miniature plants are genetically dwarf varieties of some of the famous ornamental plants.

Benefits of Miniature Plants:

These miniature plants or dwarf varieties are ideal for small-sized gardens. There are some other benefits discussed below:

  • Most are low- maintenance and need little if any pruning to stay small and true to form.

  • They fit right into rock or alpine gardens as well as containers and troughs.

  • They make excellent edging at the front of beds and borders, or along sidewalks and paths.
