Foundation Day Celebrations Starts at College of Animal Biotechnology, GADVASU

Different Shades of Life Organized on Foundation Day Celebration

College of Animal Biotechnology (COABT), Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU), Ludhiana has started celebrations on its foundation day. Dr Y S Malik, Dean & Chairman of the festival, at the time of inauguration informed that the celebrations will last for five days up to 27th February, 2022. 

Seven Different Competitive Events to be Organized

Dr R S Sethi, Co- chairman of the event informed that seven competitive events such as photography, poster making, cartooning, rangoli making, collage making, clay modelling and extempore will be organized during these days.

Dr. Simrinder Singh Sodhi, Organizing Secretary of the event said that this is going to be the first of its kind activity especially for students after the lockdown period of Covid-19 Pandemic. Dr Sodhi, added that this celebration has brought great energy and enthusiasm among the students and faculty.

Different Shades of Life to be Organized on Final Day

On the inaugural day students of the college participated in cartooning competition. The event was judged by Dr Minakshi, former head, Dept of Animal Biotechnology, Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences (LUVAS), Hisar and Dr Vaneet Inder Kaur, Head, Dept. of Aqua culture, GADVASU.

Dr Satparkash Singh, joint organizing secretary of the event informed that on the final day a cultural program depicting different shades of life will be organized.
